We build this shop to WCAG 2.1 level AA, and we would rather tell you where we fall short than claim we never do.

Tell us what blocked you

What we have done

• Text and background colours are chosen by measured contrast ratio, not by eye. Body text measures at least 4.5:1 against its background; large headings at least 3:1.
• Every interactive element has a visible keyboard focus ring, and the whole shop — browse, add to cart, checkout — can be completed with a keyboard alone.
• Every product photograph carries descriptive alternative text naming the tool, not a filename.
• Headings run in order, so a screen reader can navigate the page by structure.
• The layout reflows to 320px without horizontal scrolling, and text can be zoomed to 200% without loss of content.
• Motion is limited to short fades, and is switched off entirely for anyone whose system asks for reduced motion.

Known limitations, honestly

• The product-image zoom on a desktop product page is a hover interaction; the full-size image is reachable by keyboard, but the zoom itself is not.
• Some product specification tables are wide on a small screen and scroll sideways within their own container.
• The payment form on the checkout page is supplied by our payment processor. We do not control its markup, though we have chosen the accessible variant it offers.
